CORVALLIS, Ore. --- Portland's men's and women's cross country teams opened the 2016 campaign with a solid showing at the OSU John Frank Invitational Saturday morning as the Pilots finished on top of the field, which also included Oregon State and Portland State. Parkes Kendrick led the women with a first place finish and a time of 16:52.8 in the 5000m. Sophomore Logan Orndorff then led the men in the 6000m with a second place finish and a time of 18:31.5.
