University of Portland sophomore Laura Pellicoro joins DyeStat editor Doug Binder to discuss the upcoming Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison, Wis. on Friday. Pellicoro, an 800-meter specialist in the spring, recently finished second in her season-opening race at the Bill Dellinger Invitational, hosted by Oregon, last month. Pellicoro comes from the Milan area of northern Italy and finished fourth in the Italian Track and Field Championships in the 800 meters in late June. Pellicoro finished 39th in last year's Nuttycombe Invitational and discusses how that experience may benefit her this week.
